Portrait in type by Rafid Khan              So for my portrait in type assignment, I chose Pop Smoke. As you can see, it's very incomplete assignment as I'm unable to have time to finish it as the picture contain many details on Pop Smoke. However, the things I've put on my Pop Smoke with typography looks somewhat decent as I've completed most of his face. So let me tell you the process that I've went through in order to make this so called incomplete Pop Smoke type art. One of the biggest challenges I've faced while making this type art is that I couldn't determine what letters could fit on the features/areas of Pop Smoke. Since I have lack of knowledge to put variety of letters in the art, I mostly used the letter I to outline the picture of Pop Smoke. Self-Portrait by Rafid Khan As you can see, this is my gray-scale portrait-to-color portrait. Let me tell you the process that I went through while making these portraits in Adobe Illustrator. First of all, the biggest I faced while starting this assignment is trying to find a good picture of myself. Normally I don't really take pictures or selfies and when I do it's not really a good one. After so many attempts of trying to take a good picture of myself, I was like "forget it". So on my last selfies, I decided to use them in my assignment. So I cropped my picture so that it somewhat shows mostly my face and neck. I then opened my selfie to Adobe Photoshop and add the grayscale in my selfies by 8 levels. I then saved my selfie as grayscale and then opened it up on Adobe Illustrator. When I got into Adobe Illustrator, I locked up the original photo. Six Column Layout By Rafid Khan As you can see, this is my Six Column Layout design. My Six column layout design is about Marvel characters. It's basically Marvel characters that are from heroes to villain. Since there are multiple characters in the Marvel universe, I chose six specific ones which I like or just randomly chose. The six Marvel characters that I've chose are Spider-Man, Deadpool, Carnage, Captain America, Hulk and Black Panther. So the first character I have included in my design is Spider-Man because there's no way I wouldn't leave him out since I always consider him as my favorite. Back then I didn't know I could outline the characters by using the white arrow and the cursor tool. So with Spider-Man, I used the pen tool to outline the character which I had no struggle with.   Concert Poster by Rafid Khan  As you can see, this is my concert poster. I didn't really use any actual artist or bands to make this concert poster as I don't really have any favorite for it. So I have used some inspiration and reference in order to create my own band for this poster. So when I was coming up with a idea by sketching first, I came up with the idea of using the word "Symphony" from candy bar called "Hershey Symphony".  It just randomly clicked on me as I have heard of that candy bar name but never try it.
