Hierarchy on Grid by Rafid Khan
Hierarchy on Grid
By Rafid Khan
This is Hierarchy on Grid #1 design, as you can see this design represents the letter C. I believe this C that I've created using grids and type boxes is rather a type of C that is used for the font for Minecraft. So I have created this letter by using grids and type box in which the process of making this is very basic. In the entire first column, I've put placeholder textbox. In the second column, I've put the place holder box in the first and the last row of it. I did the same pattern in the 3rd and 4th column by repeating the step that I've used for the second column. However in the 4th column, I've used the quote: What’s the Matter with You?

as my type box in the 4th column because I want to make it look different cuz if I used all the placeholder text in order to make this design then it would've been basic and meaningless. So this is why I've used "What's the matter with you..." text in the end of the 4th column at the first and last row to make it a little unique and significant.
This is my 2nd design in hierarchy on grid. This design represents the letter O, it may look like a square box but actually it's the letter O. This design is similar to my first design which looked like the letter C except I closed the letters with the text box. Here is how I have created this design. So in the first column, I repeatedly put the text "What's the matter with you..." And then in the second column, I've put "what's the matter with you" text on the first and last row. Then in the 3rd column, I've put the placeholder text in the first and last column. Lastly, in the 4th column, I have fully put the placeholder text in all of the rows. Just like my first design, I also made things different with the second design as well because if I only put one specific text to make the letter O then it would've been meaningless. So I decided to make this design of the letter O by having half of one texts representing a part of the letter O and having the other half of another different texts representing a part of the O. In that way, we can have two different texts of the two sides combining together forming the letter O.
This is my third design in hierarchy on grid. It is showing one text box being diagonally connected to another textbox but that specific another textbox is being reflected vertically from that one textbox. I've gotten inspirations of this design from the iPhone 13. In the iPhone 13, the two cameras is diagonal from each other which kind of showing in my third design in hierarchy on grid. First of all, I have started creating this design by using "what's the matter with you" quote and placed it. I placed it in the first and second column in the first row. Second, I placed a random placeholder text in the in the first and second column in the second row. Then, I again used the "what's the matter with you" quote in the 3rd and 4th column in the third row but however with the exception that I have reflected the "what's the matter with you" quote by flipping it vertically I guess. I did the same thing with reflecting the placeholder text. I have once again repeated the same placeholder text in the 3rd & 4th column in the 4th row. I of course reflected by flipping it vertically as well. In conclusion you can see/identify this design that the two textbox is being diagonal from the each other as well as being reflected.
This is my 4th design, this design represents a cross in my opinion but some might say that it's a letter T but this is based on your own perspective though. As you might see, I have one "what is the matter with you" quote in this design which is located in the center of the cross. Meanwhile, the rest of the textboxes have same placeholder text in it. I have placed a textbox where a grid box was half cut out and then I've placed a placeholder textbox in the first column in the second. In the second column, I placed the repeated placeholder textbox in the 1st, 3rd and 4th column. But I have put the "what's the matter with you quote in the second row in the second column. In the third column, I have placed the same placeholder text in the third column in the second row. Same thing goes to the 4th column in the 2nd row. In that way, we can be able to represent a cross or a letter "t" when I make the processes/progress of making this design.
This is my 5th and my final design, I'm honest that this have to be one of my favorite design that I've made when creating designs in hierarchy on grid. It might turn interesting
when I try to explanation of making my design of this. This design represents a checkerboard in a way. To be noticed of, for the texts I have fully used the quote "what's the matter with you" in all of my textbox. In the first column I have place the quote "what's the matter with you" in the first and third row. In the second row, I have placed it in the second and 4th row. In the 3rd term, I have placed it in the first and third row. Lastly, in the 4th column, I have placed it in the second and fourth term. Then there was a very small line in between the grid boxes so I used this advantage to put what's the matter with you quote in the small lines which turns out to be really good and unique not gonna lie. It seems a good thing that I actually figured out to use this techniques in my design.
